'When Edward and I founded The British History Association in December of 2022, we had no idea what it is that we were starting and how great our association would become. We started with a love for British history in common and an opportunity to provide a place for a people's meeting place where they could delve and celebrate that passion. Our early discussions focused on the various ways that we might best promote the study of British history and kindle interest in others to share it.
As we began developing ideas and reaching out to potential members, we quickly became aware that a true hunger existed for an organization like ours. People from around the world showed their enthusiasm for connecting with others who share this interest in British history. We were literally thrilled to provide a platform for that. Looking ahead, there really is quite an excitement about the prospects of the British History Association. We remain committed to doing our work, encouraging the study and interest in British history, and look with great hope to new partnerships, collaborations, and initiatives ahead. Together, we are going to ensure that this great cultural heritage Great Britain has continues to thrive and remains to be celebrated, preserved for many generations.'

'When Eddie approached me about the idea of creating the British History Association, I was immediately on board, I knew that the field of British history needed something new, something dynamic that looks to the future as well as the past I had long been passionate about British history, and I shared Eddie's belief that there was a real need for an organization that could help promote the study of this fascinating subject. We believed that the traditional methods of studying history needed to be supplemented with new and innovative approaches that would engage people in new and exciting ways.
Together, we worked to create an association that would be at the forefront of these efforts. We sought to create a space where people from all walks of life could come together to explore British history and share their knowledge and expertise.
Looking back on what we have achieved since our founding, I am proud of what we have accomplished. The British History Association has become a vibrant and dynamic community of scholars and enthusiasts who are dedicated to advancing the study of British history. And as we look ahead to the future, I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. With our shared passion and commitment to this fascinating subject, I know that we can achieve great things together.'
